# List security settings impacts

> For each organisation the filter names, the active user members who already
satisfy a requirement for two-factor authentication (an authenticator app, or
SAML single sign-on) and those who would lose access to the organisation until
they set one up. Use it before turning `require_mfa` on.

An organisation the caller may not update the security settings of, or that
does not exist or is inactive, is left out rather than refused. A request that
names no organisation is refused with 400 (`CH.003.081`), and one naming more
than 50 distinct organisations with 400 (`CH.003.082`), since each costs a
members query. Not paginated.

Not all errors have codes, so this is usually empty.

            `CH.003.080` (403) means the organisation in `meta.organisation_id`
requires two-factor authentication and the caller's session does not
satisfy it. The caller must set up or use a second factor, or sign
in through their organisation's SAML single sign-on. Other OIDC
            sign-ins do not count.
          type: string
          examples:
            - AUTH.001
            - CH.003.080

description: A JSON object containing additional information about the error.

            pointer:
              description: >-
A JSON Pointer to the value in the request that caused the
                error.
              type: string
              examples:
                - /data/attributes/email
            parameter:
              description: >-
A string indicating which query parameter in the request caused
                the error.
              type: string
              examples:

        meta:
          description: >-
A JSON object containing additional information about the error.

When a parameter caused the error, there will be a `resource`
property with the name of the resource that caused the error.

            When `code` is `CH.003.080`, `organisation_id` names the
organisation that requires two-factor authentication, which the
            caller's session does not satisfy.
